Clear Plastic ProductsOur ASTM 6400-99 certified clear plastic products are produced using NatureWorks PLA material. They are great for cold drinks and deli food packaging. Compared to PET plastic, NatureWorks' manufacturing process emits 77 percent less, with 0.75 kilograms of CO2 per kilogram of resin. It also consumes 56 percent less energy than the equivalent weight of PET. Compostable in industrial facilities. Food Packaging ProductsOur Cornstarch and 100% PLA food service products have a variety of uses: in-store dining, to-go containers, meat and vegetable trays, straws, frozen food packaging... shopping, trash and produce bags! All products meet ISO 14855 standards for biodegradability and are compostable in industrial facilities (backyard composting is likely possible but testing is not yet complete).
